I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 8 years of experience in both clinical and academic set up. I work to develop a therapeutic relationship in which realizations can occur and positive changes can be made. I've worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, and specialize in helping clients work through depression, anxiety, and trauma.
My areas of expertise include behavioral issues, childhood trauma, insecure attachments, familial issues, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in both EMDR and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
I believe in drawing from a range of approaches that best suit the client's needs. I integrate both concrete recommendations and insight-oriented direction to help navigate issues and concerns. I primarily draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, and often utilize CBT and EMDR methods. Most importantly, I believe in cultivating a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe to share and explore your experiences.
